Xianjun Yang

Biography

Xianjun is a second-year CS Ph.D. student at UCSB, focusing on Scientific Information Extraction from quantum materials domain literature for the discovery of novel synthesis information. Xianjun combines machine learning with Natural Language Processing techniques as data mining tools, such as Graph Neural Network, SciBERT, or Multi-Task Learning.
