Chih-Hung Wu

Biography

Chih-Hung was born in Taiwan and obtained his BSc in Physics at National Taiwan University. He is now a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Physics at UC Santa Barbara, under the supervision of Prof. Xi Dong. He is dedicated to understanding how quantum gravity may shed light on quantum computing and quantum information theory, especially the notion of entanglement entropy in gravitational systems. He is also interested in developing classical and quantum machine learning frameworks to tackle more empirical-oriented problems. He joined the Quantum Foundry wishing to bridge the gap between theoretical and experimental research in quantum science.
