Bio:

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio. I did my undergrad in materials science at The Ohio State University, where I researched III-V based photovoltaics. I came to UCSB in 2024 to pursue my PhD in Materials. I work in Susanne Stemmer's group, where I study MBE growth of cadmium arsenide thin films. Cadmium arsenide, a 3D Dirac semimetal in bulk, hosts a variety of topological phases, and I am interested in exploring these for potential applications in quantum computing. When I'm not researching, I like making and listening to music, reading, and rock climbing.
