Ganesh Pokharel (Assist Prof of Physics at the Univ. of West Georgia)

Ganesh received his BSc in Physics from Tribhuvan University (Nepal), his M.S. in Physics from the University of Memphis, and his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Tennessee. His graduate work was focused on the synthesis, characterization, and neutron scattering studies of frustrated materials. He is currently a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) with Prof. Stephen Wilson. At UCSB, his research focuses on the synthesis of new materials, characterizing their properties, and performing scattering measurements.
