Juan Gaitan

Bio: 

Juan Felipe Gaitan is an experimental physicist at the Institute for Terahertz Science and Technology. Born in Colombia, then growing up in Florida, Juan then moved away to NYU to complete his undergrad. There, Juan completed his BS in Applied Physics with a minor in Quantum Technology. He worked in nonlinear Terahertz with the Katsumi lab, ultrafast optics with Steven Cundiff, and quantum information theory with Rupak Chatterjee.
