Biography

Dr. Mariya Romanova is a postdoctoral researcher in the Vlcek group. She is a theorist with expertise in the computational physics of condensed matter. Her Ph.D. project at Ecole Polytechnique (France) focused on the investigation of the evolution of spectroscopic properties of defects in semiconductors under high pressure. Currently, she is working on the development of stochastic many-body techniques for defects and low-dimensional systems.
