Bio:

Max Meunier is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, Santa Barbara. Before joining UCSB, he was a postdoctoral Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, focusing on quantum optics and cavity QED with 2D materials and Gallium Nitride defects in the group of Weibo Gao. He completed his PhD at CNRS - CRHEA / Université Côte d'Azur, developing telecom single-photon sources from defects in Gallium Nitride for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) applications. His current research interests include: quantum photonics, quantum computing, quantum sensing, and squeezed states of light.
