Mohamed Nawwar

Bio: Mohamed is originally from Egypt. After finishing high school there, he moved to the US where he received his Bachelor’s degree in physics from Central Washington University in 2020. After that, he started his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University, where he specialized in experimental thermal transport under the supervision of late Prof. Joseph P. Heremans. Mohamed joined the TEA Lab right after earning his PhD in 2026. His research interests include manipulating thermal transport properties under external stimuli for applications in quantum computing and thermal management systems.
