Paul Corbae

Paul is a postdoctoral researcher in the Palmstrom group at UCSB. He completed his undergraduate Engineering Physics degree at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. He then completed his PhD at University of California Berkeley working under Professor Frances Hellman. His research focused on thin film growth and studying topological states in systems which lack long-range order, such as amorphous materials. At UCSB Paul intends to use MBE growth to create novel topological states and heterostructures for applications in quantum information science.
