Sofia Gonzalez Garcia

Bio:

Sofia is originally from Zaragoza, in north-eastern Spain. She did her undergrad at Imperial College London followed by a Masters in Theoretical Physics at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. Sofia is interested in various aspects of condensed matter and quantum information, from theoretical questions to experimental implementations. In the past, she has worked on the development of numerical methods for quantum many body systems, such as tensor networks. Sofia is currently a graduate student at Michel's Devoret lab, working on superconducting qubit readout and quantum control.
