Biography:

I'm an experimentalist at heart, I love working with cutting-edge technology to develop new ways to probe physical phenomena, especially in nanoscale quantum systems. Originally from Seattle, WA, I earned my PhD at the University of California, Riverside with Dr. Nathan Gabor, researching the optoelectronic properties of 2D Heterostructures. I moved to Santa Barbara to work with Dr. Andrea Young and continue exploring the exotic behavior of 2D materials by using the nanoSQUID technique to illuminate the novel magnetic properties of graphene.
