Wilson Yanez-Parreno

Wilson is a postdoctoral researcher in the Palmstrom group at UCSB. He specializes in the synthesis of quantum materials and materials for quantum applications using molecular beam epitaxy. He specializes in the development of heterostructures made of dissimilar materials to engineer novel physical behavior with a particular emphasis in the synthesis of superconductors for quantum computing applications. He also works on electrical transport characterization and angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy.
