UC Santa Barbara
Bio:
After graduating from the Southern University of Science and Technology in China, Xuance joined Stony Brook University to pursue a PhD degree in Physics. He worked on first-principles studies of 2D topological materials and complex metal oxides with Deyu Lu and Mark Hybertsen, and was co-supervised by Jennifer Cano. In 2024, he joined the Vlcek Group as a postdoc. Currently, Xuance’s research interests focus on the development of computational methods for topologically nontrivial quantum interfaces.
