Yifei Bai

Biography

Yifei obtained his Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Washington, Seattle. His past experience includes the design and construction of a high-precision temperature sensor in the Eöt-Wash group for experimental test on the equivalence principle, and magnetic field noise measurement and imaging stabilization in the ultracold atom experiment in the Gupta's group. His interest in quantum simulation and dynamics brought him to UC Santa Barbara. Yifei is now a graduate student with Prof. David Weld in the physics department, studying out-of-equilibrium quantum dynamics.
