Quantum Synthesis Workshop

May 19th to 21st, 2025

This workshop is organized by the Quantum Foundry at UC Santa Barbara with the goal of communicating recent developments, new research areas, and materials challenges faced by the community pursuing the synthesis of quantum materials. The workshop will be an interdisciplinary forum to bring together physicists, materials scientists, chemists, and engineers in the quantum materials community. Discussion of new synthesis techniques, materials design pathways, and the role of data/AI are increasingly important as synthesis bottlenecks are major rate limiters within the field.  This workshop's third iteration looks to continue fostering a community of specialists focused on addressing this problem.
